Crowning the best martial arts for fitness is almost an impossible task. There are so many different forms of martial arts that humans have been practicing for thousands of years, and martial arts have made an impact all around the world. We’re going to go through the most effective martial arts that you can try at our studio and try to see which is truly the best. Let’s do it!
Martial Arts

We offer a general adult martial arts class that is kind of a little bit of everything – and all of our students LOVE IT. You’ll learn how to practice self defense properly, have a blast with like-minded people, and break quite a sweat too.
We condition at the beginning of class, run through drills and teach new skills, and then finish with a cool off.
You WILL get sweaty in this class- so if you’re just starting to explore martial arts and looking for the best martial arts for fitness, our Adult Martial Arts class may be your best option.
Jiu-Jitsu

Jiu-jitsu is a different form of martial arts that’s practiced around the world. It involves more groundwork and leveraging your body through physics and motion to fend off an attacker that may be bigger and stronger than you.
Jiu-Jitsu is super popular when it comes to women’s self defense, too. If you’re looking to work your core in particular, go with Jiu-jitsu- lots of ground work = lots of core work! All who desire shredded abs, attend a Jiu-Jitsu class -might be the best martial arts for fitness for you.
Muay Thai and Krav Maga

Muay Thai and Krav Maga will both turn your entire body into a self-defense machine.
Muay Thai is for you if you’re looking to train competitively and fight on the mat. You’ll also learn how to attack with your elbows and knees instead of just punching and kicking.
Krav Maga is more of a bootcamp style of teaching as it was originally taught to Israeli soldiers, so it’s super practical for real-life fighting.
Both Muay Thai and Krav Maga are intense forms of training, and you’re sure to get a fantastic workout in each class – the best martial arts for fitness is dependent on if you want to compete and use elbows and knees, or if you want to focus more on real life self defense applications.
